The partitions between the living room, dining room, kitchen, and playground have been dismantled, creating a spacious and open environment. The inclined lattice at the entrance, resembling the shadows of forest trees, adds a touch of transparency and visual depth to the space.

The heart of the design lies in the TV wall, crafted from natural materials such as wood, stone slabs, and metals. This integration of organic elements brings a sense of life and growth to the space, extending the ambiance to the ceiling. Lin's commitment to sustainable development is evident in the choice of materials. Instead of opting for an abrasion-resistant floor, a wood floor with stone grain and metal accents was chosen. The reimagined configuration of Splendid Forest prioritizes the seamless flow of space and interaction among family members. Located in Kaohsiung, Splendid Forest was completed in July 2020. The design process involved meticulous research and careful consideration of technical challenges. Lin's expertise in handling complex issues, such as the pipeline of air-conditioning ventilation, ensured the successful integration of energy recovery ventilation systems.

Splendid Forest has garnered recognition for its exceptional design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2022.
